Best Buy offers the TiVo BOLT 500GB 4K DVR and Entertainment System plus a $50 gift card for $289.99 shipped. This DVR typically goes for $280-$300, the effective price of $239.99 after the gift card is the best deal that we've seen since it was released back in September.
Unlike previous generation TiVo devices, the BOLT includes a year of service bundled into the price ($149 value). Aside from the usual DVR functionality and guide features, TiVo's newest product includes 4K capabilities, streaming functionality via Netflix, Hulu Plus and others. A new "SkipMode" allows viewers to bypass the section of their recordings that show commercials.
