Amazon's Goldbox is the Mohu MH-110598 Leaf Paper-Thin Indoor HDTV Antenna with 30 Mile Range for an all time low of $23.99 Prime Shipped. I've owned a Mohu for years and use it to get local channels on our HDTV in our bedroom. It takes all of 2 minutes to set up (frustration free packaging!) and with black and white colors blends into most environments. TV stations within 30 miles are indistinguishable from cable. This model retails for $50 and has never been below $30 before.
Even if you do want to keep your cable TV service, it is nice to have a backup in case your cable goes out during an important event like the Superbowl.
